Powered by a hardworking 41.5cc petrol engine, built with a fuel pump to ensure quick starting, the 143R-II is supplied as standard with a versatile cutting system featuring a T45X dual nylon line trimmer head.

The trimmer head provides the precision required to achieve neat finish on edges and borders, but can also be used for cutting larger patches of longer grass thanks to a heavy duty clutch and a high torque bevel gear positioned parallel to the ground to boost cutting performance. For even greater efficiency, the trimmer head also features a handy'Tap & Go' line feed system; simply tap the cutting head against the ground and the nylon line is advanced to an optimal working length. When faced with denser patches of nettles, thistles and other hardy weeds, meanwhile, the four-tooth grass blade provides a superbly effective alternative cutting option.
