Make short work of tall grass, brambles and nettles. When the going gets really tough, the Countax High Grass Mulching (HGM) deck is in a class of its own. Using the same principles as an agricultural mulcher, the HGM deck is capable of cutting thick, long grass, brambles, thistles and scrub. Chains located at the front and rear prevent the grass from being completely flattened and stop it escaping before being cut. Six hardened steel mulching blades cut multiple times, with the resulting mulch left on the ground to decompose.

The deck is available in two sizes: The smaller 92cm (36) HGM deck fits the C60, C80, B65-4WD and B255-4WD. For sale is my July 2014 Countax 36 High Grass Mulching (HGM) Deck that I've had fitted to a C800H Countax shown in some of the photographs (this mower is NOT part of this listing - this listing is for the cutter deck ONLY), only because I've very recently ended up with a newer one. There is absolutely nothing wrong functionally with this deck and I was cutting the field shown in one of the pictures with it yesterday.

Some of the paint has blistered on the top and there is one hell of a dent from something before my ownership on the left hand side but all of the metal on the deck is in excellent condition with no holes, cracks or tears, and it works perfectly. I have also transferred the deck belt cover from the newer deck as this ones was broken. These decks are outstanding and make short work of high grass, brambles, weeds, etc provided you do not rush at the cutting and vary your forward speed by the cutter deck/engine note! Rather amazingly, they also produce a good result on lawns too and I've given up using my 36 IBS Mulching deck as this produces just as good a result IMHO.

Due to weight (94 kg) and size, its for collection only from Bristol (BS16 1FY) behind UWE, 5 minutes from J3 of the M32 and J19 of the M4. Help will be given to load it and cash on collection is preferred.
