About the STIHL FS 56 C-E Brushcutter. A new generation, lightweight petrol brushcutter. The STIHL FS 56 C-E brushcutter has a straight shaft, bike handle design and ErgoStart technology, perfect for anyone looking for a convenient, easy to use machine. Something that puts many people off petrol machines is the difficulty starting them. Now, however, thanks to STIHL's ErgoStart system and a generally much-simplified starting procedure, you can rest assured that the effort required to start the FS 56 C-E is vastly reduced compared to previous machines.
In fact, the effort necessary to start the FS 56 C-E has been halved (compared to a machine not using ErgoStart), while the force needed to pull the starter cord is just a third of the previous amount. A coil spring is also in place to smooth out force peaks, making them virtually undetectable through the cord itself.
Being a bike-handled machine, a smooth mowing action is ensured, when used with a harness. This allows you to guide the machine with ease, making it perfect for use over large areas without fatigue. Using STIHL's 2-stroke engine with stratified charge, exhaust emissions are reduced significantly, while also boasting up to 20% lower fuel consumption compared to regular 2-stroke engines.
